The Billing & Administrative Clerk is responsible for performing data entry and other related duties in calculation, preparation and disbursement of invoices and driver paperwork. This position requires high attention to detail, efficient and accurate data entry, effective communication skills, persistence, and initiative.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES


• Prepare and finalized invoices for specified loads and certified contracts for the Bulk department
• Ensure efficiency for incoming paperwork to outgoing invoices
• Obtain Proof of Delivery when requested

• Maintain relationships with current clients and resolve complaints regarding invoicing issues
• Assist and advise other Billing & Administrative assistants in position tasks
• Other duties may be assigned


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS


• High School Diploma required
• Accounting or Business Administration Certificate an asset
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative capacity
• Ability to remain persistent to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
• Ability to create and modify word-processed documents using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to use discretion in decision making within predetermined limits and procedures
