Accounting Technician

Tasks

• Updating bank reconciliation and performing monthly reconciliations.
• Preparing commission reports for the agent in the United States.
• Contributing to the analysis and presentation of financial results.
• Gathering data for accurate billing and sending invoices to clients.
• Processing GST/QST remittances.
• Verifying and recording supplier invoices in the accounting system (Acomba).
• Processing payroll in NETHRIS and preparing payroll and benefits reports.
• Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting technician position.
• Strong knowledge of the Acomba accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Functional bilingualism (an asset).
