ABOUT US

Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Revenue Agent at Air Inuit, you will be at the forefront of our financial operations, ensuring seamless invoicing processes and contributing to the overall efficiency of our revenue management. You will handle various invoicing tasks, assist with month-end procedures, and provide exceptional customer service related to invoicing and refunds. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process invoicing for Passenger, Cargo, Charter, and miscellaneous services with precision and efficiency;
  • Assist management with month-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded;
  • Handle credit notes and refunds, providing timely and accurate resolutions;
  • Prepare ad hoc invoicing reports and perform detailed analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Deliver excellent customer service related to invoicing and refunds, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Perform any other related tasks or produce any other reports according to the department's operational needs and objectives.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (aviation industry experience is a plus);
  • 1 to 2 years of billing experience;
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently;
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel-advanced, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (D365 is an asset);
  • Flexible and available for overtime when required;
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written) - Inuktitut is an asset;
  • Ability to adapt easily to airline industry systems for effective research and documentation (experience with MonaLisa, Skyline, Bart is an asset).

COMPENSATION

  • Salary and benefits are determined in accordance with company policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Location: Air Inuit Head Office, located in Ville St-Laurent.
  • Permanent role, offering stability and growth.
  • Schedule: Enjoy a Monday to Friday workweek, totaling 37.5 hours.
  • Office Presence: Required to be in the office for four days a week, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
