Location: Montréal Salary: Between $45,000 to $65,000 per year (negotiable based on experience) Job category: Accounting - Finance Type of job: Permanent Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Tasks

  • Manage bookkeeping and analyze financial statements: Provide a clear and precise overview of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements: Create comprehensive and well-structured reports in compilation form, ensuring maximum compliance and transparency for our clients.
  • Preparand review corporate tax returns: Develop effective tax strategies to optimize compliance and efficiency in filings.
  • Supervise year-end slips (T4, T5): Prepare and review these documents with precision, ensuring legal compliance and attention to detail.
  • Assist individuals with their tax obligations: Offer personalized service to prepare and review individual tax returns, considering the specifics of each tax situation.
  • Perform any other administrative tasks related to accounting as needed by the department.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
  • Experience in an accounting firm is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of Simple Comptable (Sage 50) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Caseware/Caseview software is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Taxprep software is a plus.
