Tasks
Perform actions required for invoicing, follow-up, collection, and payment receipt.
Manage accounts receivable and prepare payments using various methods and systems.
Receive and process expense reimbursement requests.
Handle the company's accounting operations, including maintaining the books by recording various transactions, preparing, controlling, and recording month-end and year-end entries.
Prepare tax filings and government obligations (GST-QST, CSST, REQ, etc.).
Follow up with government authorities, if needed, for any information requests.
Provide information for payroll preparation (outsourced payroll service).
Support the year-end financial audit and preparation of financial statements.
Act as a resource person for administrative employees performing accounting tasks.
Participate in the validation of transport supplier invoices.
Follow up on financial communications with external companies (timesheets, SAP data, employee billing, etc.).
Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements
Hold a college diploma in accounting.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience required.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite - Excel (advanced level).
Knowledge of SAP software.
Knowledge of Avantage software (an asset).
Proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written) to easily communicate with both French- and English-speaking clients - Functional English is also acceptable.
