Tasks
Perform the full payroll cycle (entering hours, verifying payroll, employee payments, terminations).
Respond to government inquiries (phone, email, or mail).
Handle weekly reports related to salary deductions, collective bargaining agreements, and hour tracking.
Verify employee records (SIN, work permits, specimen cheque, etc.).
Work collaboratively with colleagues on employee payroll-related matters.
Perform other related tasks as needed.

Job requirements
Experience in payroll processing.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Intermediate proficiency in both French and English to effectively communicate with the national clientele 30% of the time.
Knowledge of standards across several provinces and territories in Canada is an asset.
Familiarity with the Business Central payroll system is a plus.
