Location: Laval Salary: Between $55,000 and $62,000 per year, depending on experience. Job category: Accounting - Finance Type of job: Permanent Schedule: Day shift, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.

Tasks

  • Perform the full accounting cycle and bank reconciliation.
  • Manage payroll, leave, DAS declarations, T4, T4A forms, Relevé 1, and employment records.
  • Administer and adjust, if necessary, employee group insurance & terminations.
  • Prepare GST & QST reports.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Manage broker billing and client accounts.
  • Collaborate on preparing year-end files.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • At least three years of experience as an accounting technician (essential).
  • DEC in Accounting (essential).
  • Good knowledge of Excel (at least intermediate level).
  • Good level of bilingualism - French and English (essential).
  • Knowledge of Accpac - Sage 300 (an asset).
