We are recruiting for an experienced Data Integrity Analyst (Accounts Payable) to join our Accounting team. This role will be based from our Corporate Head Office in Brossard, Montreal. This is an on-site position.

Job Overview:

A Data Integrity Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across an organization's systems. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and addressing data quality issues, as well as developing and implementing processes to maintain high standards of data integrity. Data Integrity Analysts work closely with various departments to monitor data flow, validate data inputs, and perform data audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Data Quality Monitoring:

  • Regularly monitor and assess the quality and accuracy of data within the company’s systems.
  • Perform data validation checks to identify discrepancies, missing values, or inconsistent data.

Data Audits and Reconciliation:

  • Conduct data audits to ensure that records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in data across different databases or systems.

Data Cleansing:

  • Identify, correct, or remove erroneous, incomplete, or duplicated data from databases.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve data quality and streamline data entry.

Data Integrity Process Development:

  • Design and implement best practices, standards, and policies for data integrity management.
  • Create and maintain documentation regarding data standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Collaboration with Teams:

  • Work with IT, database administrators, and other departments to resolve data quality issues.
  • Provide support and training to other team members on data management practices.

Report Generation:

  • Prepare regular reports on data quality metrics and trends.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure data integrity processes comply with industry regulations, privacy laws, and internal data governance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with data management best practices and legal requirements regarding data handling.

Automation and Tools Implementation:

  • Use data validation tools and software to automate data quality checks and maintain data integrity across various systems.
  • Implement data monitoring solutions for proactive identification of potential data issues.

Root Cause Analysis:

  • Investigate data quality issues and identify root causes of discrepancies.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of data issues

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:

  • 5+ Years demonstrable Accounts Payable skills & experience, preferably in a team lead role managing projects.
  • Experience supporting projects, documenting processes and workflows
  • Advanced skills working in excel
  • Knowledge of Power Point and flow charts
  • Successful track record in process improvement and modernization, including using AI OCR automation processes
  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork, use of diplomacy to build consensus
  • Sollid skills in customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to adapt and interact at all levels throughout the organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environment
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with a practical, quantifiable, and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Proven ability to balance conflicting responsibilities while meeting deadlines and varying workload
  • Advanced skills in organization, communication, resourcefulness, independent work
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Business Central is an asset
