Location: Boucherville Salary: Between $60,000 and $80,000 annually, negotiable based on experience. Job category: Accounting - Finance Type of job: Permanent Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Tasks

  • Collect, process, and validate the essential data for payroll production, within the prescribed deadlines, for a workforce of 300 to 500 employees under various collective agreements.
  • Manage data related to the payment of social benefits.
  • Act as a resource person for payroll and social benefits inquiries and resolve related issues.
  • Perform the monthly tasks required: CCQ, AMMQ, FTQ, government deductions, collective insurance, company fleet, training, etc.
  • Apply the rules of collective agreements (overtime, premiums, various expenses).
  • Manage employee files related to hiring, employment termination, and end of employment.
  • Prepare and produce T4s and Relevé 1 forms.
  • Ensure the updating and follow-up of employee files.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEP, DEC, or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a unionized company, ideally with several collective agreements.
  • Knowledge of CCQ payroll (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll laws and standards, including tax principles and year-end processes.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook primarily).
  • Knowledge of MAESTRO and SAP systems (an asset).
  • Experience in the construction industry (an asset).
  • SCP (Payroll Compliance Specialist) accreditation and membership with ACP (an asset).
