The opportunity
As a Senior Tax Staff, in ITTS - DIG you will be part of a small but growing team that is pioneering digital transformation across EY Canada's Tax Practice to help our professionals drive operational efficiencies through automation and go to market with competitive offerings. You will work across tax disciplines and closely with various Tax service line engagement teams to scope out their tax data problems and create data efficient solutions for their existing business processes.
Donning your entrepreneurial hat during the product discovery phase, you'll reimagine how critical business lines perform their work while reducing costs and increasing client satisfaction. You will experience the best of both worlds working on a small dynamic team with the resources and backing of large global organization while you embark on this transformational journey.

This position may be based in any EY Canada office - Calgary, Dieppe, Edmonton, Halifax, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Saint John, Saskatoon, St. John's, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Waterloo or Winnipeg.
Key Responsibilities
A Senior Tax Staff is responsible for tax data gathering, validation, and organizing large volumes of financial statements, tax returns, and tax working papers as well as following up on missing information and discussing the overall data quality and completeness status with the tax engagement teams while assisting the DIG Managers in implementing tax data processing strategies that align with the engagement objectives.

The Senior Tax Staff may be based in any EY Canada office location. The national scope of this position means business level fluency in English is required.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $60,000 to $97,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
