Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, and administrative duties.
Prepare and manage purchase orders, vendor bills and payments.
Prepare and manage projects as it relates to fees, progress billings and overseeing collections.
General accounting responsibilities including general ledger, balance sheet reconciliation.
Prepare financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis or as needed.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Clerical duties such as maintaining filing and record systems.
Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years' experience in Bookkeeping required.
College or University degree/diploma in accounting or a related field.
Strong communication skills are required.
Strong relationship management skills are required.
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
Ability to adapt to and learn new software.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
