Court Services Division is looking for a versatile, self-motivated, energetic individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. You will administer the financial information systems, provide analytical and administrative support to the Manager and Supervisors of Court Operations on a wide range of financial, human and physical resource issues.

What can I expect to do in this role?
You will:
• Process, code and reconcile financial transactions
• Monitor and verify petty cash, bank accounts, cash reconciliation and bank deposits
• Prepare annual and monthly budget estimates and in-year calendarized expenditure forecasts
• Calculate interest and distribute trust funds
• Use a computerized/manual system
• Exercise signing authority on accounts
• Provide administrative support to the local management team such as drafting correspondence, preparing reports and scheduling meetings
• Compile statistical information
• Respond to inquiries from external clients on financial matters
• Maintain financial tracking systems
• Review output of financial database for errors and discrepancies and ensure resolution
• Ensure ongoing development to meet business needs

Specialized Knowledge
You have:
• knowledge of financial administration, estimates and budget procedures, policies and guidelines to ensure financial records are accurate
Analytical and Organizational Skills
You have:
• demonstrated research and analytical skills to verify financial information in reports
• organizational skills to deal with multiple priorities
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
You have:
• oral communication skills to provide information and assistance to clients on budget requests and retention schedules
• written communication skills to prepare letters, budgets, financial and statistical reports monthly operating statements and journal entries
• interpersonal skills to obtain information from clients and provide advice regarding legal documents, financial processes and related procedures
