Payroll, Pensions & Benefits Services manages a $1.6B payroll system and is responsible for the delivery of pay, time entry, pension and benefit services, and reimbursements to approximately 24,000 City, Police and Library employees.
You are responsible for helping to administer the OMERS pension plan for these three organizations. The duties include (but are not limited to) submitting pension enrolments to OMERS, mailing buy back offers, conducting audits, completing special projects, and assisting with our yearend processes.
You will also help facilitate the retirement process by aiding our Pension and Benefit Consultants with some of the administrative aspects of the process.
Completion of 3 year university degree in financial management or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a payroll, accounting or finance environment, including at least 2 years in a computerized payroll function
