Day In The Life:
· Process a weekly payroll for approx. 900 union and non-unionized hourly employees
· Ensure compliance with Federal & Provincial Payroll legislation and company policies
· Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, deductions, allowances etc. as required
· Run payroll departmental reports as required
· Print and distribute pay statements and/or cheques on a weekly basis
· Assist in the processing of record of employments on a weekly basis
· Maintain employee records as per government regulations
· Monitor and address employee inquiries from the Payroll Support Helpdesk
· Liaison with branches on payroll related items
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
· Assist with other payroll-related duties as assigned
What We Are Seeking:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Processing Payroll an asset
· Minimum 2 years of SAP Success Factors experience preferred
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/Outlook
· Strong organizational skills
· Accuracy and attention to detail a must
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Bilingual in French and English is an asset
· CPA Certification an asset
