*This full-time (40-hours-per-week) role will be based in Leamington, ON and will be all 5 days in office.
Wage: CAD $20.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, mornings.
Term: Winter, January - April 2025
Role and Responsibilities
We have integrated -
  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of biweekly payroll processing for 400+ US employees
  • All employee payroll data will need to be stored by The Company as per the CRA- this includes:
  • Employee current worker detail
  • Employee pay data
  • Employee W2s
  • Canada - ROEs
  • Canada - T4s
  • The legacy payroll systems are being decommissioned and we need all data stored in our SharePoint files.
  • Sweetwater and Montauk from Paycom to WD
  • Breck Distillery from ADP
  • Hexo and Redecan from Dayforce
  • Hexo US from Vensure
  • TBI from Active
  • MH from Active
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year University program in related field.
  • Understanding of domestic payroll processes and payroll tax laws
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with variety of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze, prioritize work under tight timelines, and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Excel spreadsheets knowledge
  • Demonstrable ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentiality
  • Takes pride in going above and beyond
