About the Organization | The Violence Against Women Research Team, based within the Department of Community Health & Epidemiology at Dalhousie University, focuses on strengthening systems responses to violence against women and gender diverse people. The team works with community, practice, and policy partners on studies that use qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and knowledge synthesis methods to understand burdens of violence and evaluate intervention and policy responses. Over the next five years, we will be leading a program of work focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating intervention strategies that strengthen health systems responses to violence in Canada. Job Summary | Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Associate will take a leadership role in supporting all aspects of the studies, including qualitative and quantitative data collection, data management and analysis, and the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations. The Research Associate will be involved in intervention research, implementation science, and partnership-based research projects using mixed methods. |
