J.D. Irving, Limited is currently seeking candidates for the position of Procurement Administrator to join our Supply Chain Management Team.
· Order Entry (Site Purchase Orders and Requisitions)
· Daily navigation and support of various key procurement software(s)
· Update, manage and closeout purchase orders on completed projects as per instructions from Job Sponsors
· Collaboration with internal customers and suppliers regarding day-to-day delivery/on site issues
· Develop, maintain, and communicate reporting information
· Assist with Spend Analysis
· Advise on Cost Savings opportunities
· Order Reconciliation and Purchase Order receiving
· Key liaison between site and Accounting Department
· New Supplier Request (System Entry)
· Provide general procurement support to Site Buyers and management team
· Provide Training and Support to site
· Provide exceptional customer service to our internal stakeholders Review invoices in Basware for compliance with existing purchase orders and contracts
· Collaboration and problem solving within division and with internal customers to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators
· Post-secondary education, or an equivalent amount of related experience
· Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a strong skillset in MS Excel
· Process oriented with a high attention to detail
· Able to work as part of a team, as well as independently
· Previous purchasing or accounts payable/receivable experience is an asset
