The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Credit team to ensure the smooth functioning of the Credit team.

Responsibilities

  • Answer Credit 1-800 phone line
  • Record payroll/sick time hours
  • General ledger entries for ‘other’ deposits
  • List daily EFT deposit for digital file
  • Record and manage NSF cheques
  • Correct store payment errors
  • ‘Other’ invoicing
  • Record Airmiles on approved customer accounts
  • Manual cheque requisitions
  • Weekly cheque deposit to head office (as needed)
  • Process POs for credit department invoices
  • Manage stock for store signature pads
  • Backup for daily deposit (EFT and cheque)

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft office (ie Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Well organized and detailed oriented
  • College diploma preferred
  • Knowledge of building supply industry an asset
  • Bilingual an asset
