Your Role
As the Accounting Intern, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing general accounting support to the crop inputs accounting department.Day to Day
- Prepare, process and code invoices
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Communicate with country locations to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Provide backup and support for crop inputs accounts payable clerks
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus on agribusiness, business, accounting and/or finance.
- Previous experience working in an office environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a team.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite (Word, Excel).
