To fulfill Pattison Agricultures' vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will process accounts payable activities which include processing Parts, Service and all other invoices and maintaining vendor records for the company. This position reports to our Manager of Accounting and may work out of any of our Pattison Agriculture locations.

Responsibilities:

This individual's responsibilities include:

• Process vendor invoices through the AP automation system
• Verifies invoices for accuracy, resolves discrepancies, adhere to payment terms, calculates discounts as appropriate
• Prepares and processes cheques or online payments
• Review accounts and reconciles vendor statements
• Accurately maintains vendor records
• Oversee AP records management
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience with using business system applications
• Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry preferred
• Thorough understanding of accounting fundamentals
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Admin expertise and knowledge of office procedures
• Knowledge of cash handling, AP and general ledgering processes
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Internet applications
• Accounting, Business Administration or related program an asset. A combination of education & experience may be considered
