You'll Do:

  • Enter accounts payable into Oracle Financials.
  • Ensure invoices and check requests are properly supported and approved.
  • Review account coding and correct any miscoding.
  • Ensure the accuracy of sales tax (GST and PST) and identify and calculate self-assessments where required.
  • Match invoices to approval batches.
  • Prepare account reconciliations, including vendor & bank statement reconciliation.
  • Back up for accounts receivable entry.
  • Back up shipping and payroll.
  • Filing and photocopying as required.
  • Support the team in additional duties as needed.

You have:

  • Post-secondary training in administration or accounting or 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Oracle accounts payable is an asset.
  • High degree of accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible and adjust to changing workloads and tasks.
  • Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
  • A self-starter with the initiative to learn and grow.

Compensation Package:

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $51,500 and $60,000.
