Reporting to the National Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for Accounts Payable invoices, documents and payments in a timely, accurate manner and assist in the overall success of the AP Team and the QuadReal accounting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and Post AP invoices in Yardi and follow up as required
  • Ensure the accuracy of the invoices and GST/HST/QST coding
  • Process payments as per established cheque run and EFT schedules
  • Process Pre-Authorized payments and follow up with Banking team
  • Obtain proper signature approvals on cheques that require signatures
  • Handle Void Cheques Request
  • Coordinate and schedule intercompany payment delivery requests
  • Review Workday expenses for accuracy of GST/HST/QST entries; verify proper documentation and receipts are attached
  • Responsible for the distribution of the daily mail and courier
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the Vendors Management in ERP system
  • Provide top level customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Adhere to Accounts Payable policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of related experience in an Accounting Administration function
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, and/or related work experience
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a multi-disciplined environment is a must.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Technology savvy, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • High attention to details and provide accuracy in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently as well as be part of a team
  • An eager and willing learner, collaborative and professional
  • Working and Yardi knowledge is an asset

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $54,000

The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
