This position is a hybrid role based in our Richmond, BC office with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely per week

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing support to our customers both internally and externally.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures for investigating and evaluating new and existing customer creditworthiness and extending or revoking credit lines/limits.
  • Coordinates with internal departments to resolve billing disputes that may affect the ability to collect receivables.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations regarding bad debt or write-offs.
  • Investigate and analyze credit risks, using available internet and credit agency tools and information.
  • Recommends and implements credit extensions/revocations, and/or legal action where necessary. Develops and maintains relationships with outside credit agencies.
  • Ensures adherence to procedures and internal controls to maintain compliance.


What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
  • A finance professional with 3+ years of specialized experience in credit and accounting.
  • Possess a solid understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow, and other financial metrics.
  • Should be proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have good organizational skills.
  • Established and productive professional individual contributor.
