WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Dazzle, inspire, repeat. We've got big dreams as a company and you will create and support programs that enable our employees to bring those dreams to life. From recruitment to employee engagement to performance management, you've got it covered. You will make sure prospective and current employees feel welcome, respected, appreciated and part of the Kicking Horse Coffee community. You'll help our people build the skills they need to be successful now and in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and manage kick-ass people programs that enable all employees to contribute to our company's success, in a way that ignites our culture.
  • Oversee recruitment initiatives. Engage talent, grow talent pools, and get creative in finding kick-ass people!
  • Support leaders on performance management and employee engagement, from coaching, to managing feedback channels, to creating action plans.
  • Regularly review, update, and continuously improve our processes, programs, and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or continuous education in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an HR generalist.
  • Data analytics, reporting and HR systems experience.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of BC Employment Standards.
  • Solid skills with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and maybe even Planner and SharePoint.
  • Experience in payroll will be an asset.
  • Willing and able to work out of our headquarters in Invermere, British Columbia.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • This is an onsite position located in Invermere, BC.
  • This position works Monday to Friday, 8-hour days. Your day will start anywhere from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and roll from there.
