Reporting to the Manager Senior Manager Credit and Special Accounts, the Special Accounts Officer has the responsibility to manage a portfolio of complex high-risk accounts. Serving as the main contact for clients within the designated portfolio, they will be accountable and responsible for working with the client, their representatives and related parties; engaging in discussions and negotiations. The primary objective is to restore the client relationship to an acceptable risk in a timely manner for the branch to resume the relationship. In absence of the desired outcome, the secondary objective is to coordinate legal action for the recovery of program debt and minimization of risk. The position will provide fair and consistent application of debt recovery principles to all clients to protect the integrity of AFSC's programs and maintain an unbiased image to all clients.
